Party Brownies

• ½ cup + 2 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 eggs
• 6 tablespoons cocoa
• ½ cup sifted all-purpose flour
• ½ cup chopped walnuts (optional)

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
2. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla; beat in eggs
3. Blend in cocoa
4. Stir in flour (and nuts)
5. Bake in greased 8x8x2" pan at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes
6. Cool and cut in 16 squares
