Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup packed brown sugar
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
- ½ teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- ½ cup oats, quick or regular
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces semisweet chocolate chips
- Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Beat sugars, butter, peanut butter,
vanilla, and egg in a medium bowl until creamy and well blended. Mix in
flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about two inches apart onto un-greased
cookie sheet.
- Bake ten to 12 minutes or until light, golden brown. Cool one minute then
remove from cookie sheet.
