Party Brownies

1/2 c + 2 Tbsp butter
  1 c sugar
  1 tsp vanilla
  2 eggs
  6 Tbsp cocoa
1/2 c sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 c chopped walnuts (optional)

Oven 325 degrees

Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla; beat in eggs.  Blend in cocoa.  Stir in 
flour (and nuts).  Bake in greased 8x8x2" pan at 325 degrees 30 to 35 
minutes.  Cool.  Cut in 16 squares.
