Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 c  granulated sugar 
1/3 c  packed brown sugar 
1/2 c  butter, softened 
1/2 c  crunchy peanut butter 
1/2 ts vanilla 
  1    egg 
  1 c  flour 
1/2 c  oats, quick or regular 
  1 ts baking soda 
1/4 ts salt 
  6 oz semisweet chocolate chips 

1.  Heat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.  Beat sugars, butter, peanut butter, 
vanilla, and egg in a medium bowl until creamy and well blended.  Mix in 
flour, oats, baking soda, and salt.  Stir in chocolate chips. 

2. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about two inches apart onto un-greased 
cookie sheet. 

3. Bake ten to 12 minutes or until light, golden brown.  Cool one minute then
remove from cookie sheet.
